What the morning is
See how a company could operate in 2030, with AI a deliberate part of its everyday operations. Explore the choices behind its structure, the way it serves customers and how it has reduced costs and manual administration while staying in control.
In this interactive experience, you'll see business decisions brought to life, question the choices being made and explore what they could mean for your own company.
In just two hours on a Tuesday morning, you'll leave seeing your business differently.
The questions it centres on
We keep things centred on familiar management questions:
- Customers and growth: what could you offer, and how might your customers' expectations change?
- People and work: who does what, and how do responsibilities change?
- Investment and profitability: how do you assess and prioritise investment, and what needs to change in the business for it to deliver results?
- Leadership and control: what are your options, what trade-offs do they involve and which key decisions do you need to make?
Through demonstrations, discussion and practical work, you'll explore how these questions connect across the whole business and why they need the full leadership team's attention. You'll also consider the customers, partners and other organisations that could impact your company's future.
What you leave with
By the end of the morning, you'll leave with:
- A different perspective on AI, set in a business context you recognise
- New possibilities for how your company could operate, compete and grow
- A clearer view of the challenges, trade-offs and decisions ahead
- A practical starting point for exploring your company's future with your leadership team, so you can begin answering:
What does your 2030 company look like?
Everyone who registers receives the materials from the morning.
Who it's for
The morning is for owners, directors and senior leaders of established North East businesses, including those leading technology functions.
You don't need technical experience. Whether you're working out where to start with AI or already using it across your organisation, the focus is on the business decisions: what to pursue, what to prioritise and how to make it work.
Colleagues are welcome if they help shape where the business goes. Each person registers separately.

The Entrepreneurs' Forum brings it together with more than a dozen partners, and it forms part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The programme takes in the Forum's own summits and awards, mentoring clinics and school visits, with a fringe of independently organised events around it. The 2030 Company Experience is one of those fringe events, on the Tuesday morning.
